Facility Hire

Kelvinside Academy is situated in the heart of Glasgow’s West End, readily accessed from the city centre and the central belt. The School’s facilities are available to hire for private, corporate or community events.

As a busy school the hire of our premises operates around our school calendar. While some of our facilities are only available in the evenings, weekends and during the school holidays, our Sports Pavilion at Balgray can be used Monday - Friday depending on school events.

The School has a wide range of buildings from the historical Victorian school building to the ultra-modern Mall extension and Sports Pavilion with impressive function suite. Our Theatre seats 280 and our Games Hall can host dinners for up to 300 people. Whatever your event, whether it be an art exhibition, business conference or summer camp, we would be delighted to host your event.

You can also hire our Wilderness Campus in the Cairngorms. The John Duff Lodge is located just two miles from The Lecht Ski Centre at Strathdon and sleeps up to 28 people. A comfortable and well equipped Lodge with expansive grounds – it is a perfect location for outdoor education groups, corporate team building sessions and family get togethers.
