Five bus routes
To use our secure system there is a registration fee of £100 per child per year.
The Routes
We have five school routes available to pupils that cover areas situated North, South, East and West of Glasgow city centre. Our Transport Platform will help you find the bus route that best suits your family's location.
Southside - Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Pollokshields, Kelvinbridge
M74 Corridor - Chatelherault, Hamilton, Bothwell, Uddingston, Mount Vernon
Renfrewhshire - Kilmacolm, Bridge of Weir, Kilbarchan, Linwood, Paisley, Jordanhill
Northside - Drymen, Killearn, Strathblane, Milngavie, Bearsden, Maryhill
Stepps - Stepps, Lenzie, Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs
Student Safe
The Kelvinside Academy Transport Platform operate in partnership with StudentSafe. This offers parents a technology-led transport management solution with many benefits including increased safeguarding which is always our number one priority. There is a registration fee of £100 per child per year.
We hope that it will also encourage more parents to take advantage of the free bus journeys to and from school to help reduce emissions on the School Run.

Registration Fee & Fobs
Once you have registered for the bus service, the £100 registration fee for each child registered will be added to your school fee note. Thereafter there is no cost to use the buses.
The fobs used by the children to register as they get on the bus each day will be distributed to them during the first week of Autumn term.
