Junior and Senior pupils lined the street outside of the school gates to cheer on former Rugby player Kevin Sinfield

Sinfield ran past the school as part of his Running Home for Christmas 7 in 7 Challenge. The challenge was to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities in memory of former Rugby League player Rob Burrow who passed away from MND in 2024.
