Every donation, no matter the amount, will directly impact the lives of children in our school.

Ensuring that every pupil currently attending Kelvinside Academy can remain part of our community this year is close to the heart of everyone in the KA family.

The government’s in-year implementation of VAT on school fees in January has led families to express the difficulties they will face in continuing with independent schooling. These families have already made sacrifices to ensure they can meet their fee obligations to date but fear they will be unable to continue and are also concerned about availability in the state sector. The addition of VAT on fees amounts to approximately £3000 per year per pupil.

We are asking for support to help us continue our commitment to making a high-quality education accessible for all. Should you be able to donate, your generous gift to the Kelvinside Academy Hardship Fund will go to those in key examination years (S4, S5, S6) who are in need, with a view to avoid disrupting their schooling at this critical time.
