Camps Programme

This summer, pupils from across Glasgow can experience Kelvinside Academy’s community spirit at one of the new summer camps on offer. Situated at the main school and Balgray Sport Campus, in the heart of the West End, each of the camps is open to children from all schools. With a wide range of activities available, we’ll keep your child active, entertained, and engaged throughout the holidays.

  • Tech Camp

    Monday 30 June – Friday 4 July AND/OR Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July, age 9-14 years

    Participants will engage in enjoyable problem-solving activities resulting in two thrilling competitions: one featuring radio-controlled micro-bots and another showcasing their LEGO SPIKE-designed robots. There will also be engaging experiences within the school, ensuring each day is memorable.

  • Handball Camp

    Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July AND/OR Monday 28 July – Friday 1 August, age 7-14 years

    Whether you’re new to Handball or looking to sharpen your technique, this Camp provides the perfect mix of structured training and exciting game play.

  • Performing Arts Camp

    Monday 28 July – Friday 1 August, age 7-10 years

    KA music teacher Zara Wardrop, in collaboration with a Scottish Ballet Coach and mentors from the Welsh National Opera, brings her expertise to offer a comprehensive performing arts experience. Participants will engage in workshops led by industry experts in acting, dancing, singing, and costume.

  • Rugby Camp

    Monday 4 August – Friday 8 August, age 5-15 years

    The Rugby Camp provides an opportunity to work on rugby skills and development. The Camp will run for Primary 1 – Primary 3 from 9.30am-12.30pm, and 9.30am-3.30pm for Primary 4 – Under 15s.

  • Sewing Camp

    Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July AND/OR Monday 4 August – Friday 8 August, age 5-16 years

    We are excited to be partnering with social enterprise company ‘Stitch the Gap’ to run two Summer Sewing Camps.
