This is a key week in the Support for Learning calendar as pupils and staff wear Ellie’s Blue Dyslexia Ribbon to show their support for the 1 and 10 people with dyslexia in Scotland.

This week has seen pupils sharing their experiences of dyslexia at assembly as well as emphasising the impact that the Support for Learning department has had on their school career. Leila Barr (S6) eloquently shared her experience. Leila Barr

In particular, Robbie Harvey (S6), our Vice Captain, who is dyslexic and achieved 5 A grades at Higher level in English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and History, highlighted the reassurance and confidence on offer from the Support for Learning team.

Pupils at whatever stage of their learning find a supportive and inclusive environment where they can achieve their potential from the team of approachable and highly experienced staff.
