  • Admissions Manager

    August 2026

    We seek a warm, capable and highly organised Admissions Manager to join our thriving Marketing and Admissions Department.

    Reporting to the Director of Admissions & Communications, the Admissions Manager will have responsibility for managing pupil recruitment and the admissions process for our Nursery, Junior School and Senior School.

    We are looking for someone who is good with people, works well at pace, and cares about getting the details right. The right person will be warm, organised and commercially aware, able to build trust with families from the first conversation and guide them through the admissions journey with confidence, care and excellent follow-up. You will be enthusiastic, full of ideas, and keen to play your part in a cohesive, ambitious and supportive team.

    As one of the first people many families will meet at Kelvinside Academy, you will play an important role in shaping their early impression of the School. You will have a proven track record of working with people of all ages and backgrounds.  You will be energetic, empathetic and professional, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience in a similar role within the education sector would be beneficial, but an appetite to excel in the role and contribute positively to the wider marketing and admissions strategy is just as important.

    This is a full-time, permanent role, tenable from 17 August 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The salary will be £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience.

  • Teacher of Chemistry

    0.5FTE, Fixed Term (one year) initially. Required August 2026.

    We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Chemistry to teach students throughout the Senior School. Chemistry operates within the Faculty of Mathematics, Science and Technology. Every year a number of students go on to study Chemistry at degree level.

    The post, which is part-time and fixed term, would suit either a new or an experienced teacher; however, experience of teaching Higher grade Chemistry is desirable. The working pattern for this role for 2026-27 is Tuesday, Wednesday morning and Friday.

    The school aims to bring out the best in every student, combining high standards of teaching and a superb extra-curricular programme within an inclusive and caring ethos. Sport, outdoor pursuits, music, drama and art flourish, together with a range of clubs.

  • Estates & Facilities Manager

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Estates and Facilities Manager to lead the effective management, maintenance and development of our school estate. This is a key leadership role, ensuring that our facilities provide a safe, well-maintained, and inspiring environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

    Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the post holder will take strategic and operational responsibility for all estates, facilities and sustainability matters across the school’s estate ensuring they are managed in accordance with the School’s Health and Safety Policy and all relevant legislation. They will also line manage the School Janitors and Groundsmen.
