2020 Exam Success at Kelvinside Academy

Congratulations to our pupils on their outstanding results in National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher exams.

This is yet another year when our pupils’ results have significantly exceeded national averages for all three qualifications. 

Rector, Mr Daniel Wyatt, said "Our 2020 SQA results are recognition of the superb learning and teaching environment at Kelvinside.  Our teachers, and support staff have worked exceptionally hard to ensure our pupils' results are the best they possibly can be. Our motto “Be the Best You Can Be” means that we will continue to strive for further improvement in the future. Congratulations to all our pupils on their achievements."

“This has been an incredibly challenging 6 months for pupils expecting to sit National Examinations across the world and this is certainly the case in Scotland. I recognise and celebrate the resilience and strength shown by all young people and our cohort of pupils at Kelvinside in coping with the pressure and anxiety that waiting for Results Day inevitably brings. At Kelvinside I am encouraged by our holistic philosophy and approach. I am certain that by placing a real value in developing competencies and skills, character and personal growth, through the CCF, Sport, Innovation and the Arts we confidently see our leavers progress to their destinations of choice with a knowledge that they have the tools and experiences to succeed.”
