Once again this was an excellent event and the pupils all worked very hard throughout the afternoon across all 6 events.  There were many outstanding individual performers.

In The J6 boys Gilli Jones was 1st in three events and 2nd in the other three.  Ella Campbell had a very successful afternoon winning 5 out of the 6 event.  In her other event she was 2nd.

In the J5 boys Rhuari Laughlin and Jack Dalziel were the main winners in what is a very competitive age group. Rhuari was 1st in the 300m, Sprint,  Long Jump and joint winner of the Hurdles.  Jack Dalziel won the Cricket ball throw and was the joint winner of the Hurdles.  He was also 2nd in the Sprint, Javelin and the Long Jump.

Louis Coubrough was the winner of the J5 boys Javelin.  In the J5 girls Louise Kemp enjoyed success in winning the Sprint, Hurdles, Long Jump and the 300m.  She was also 2nd in the Javelin.  Holly Hailstone also performed well taking victory in the Javelin and 2nd place in the Hurdles, 300m, Sprint and the Cricket ball.

In the J4 boys event Logan Scrimgeour was the top performer winning 4 individual events; Sprint, 300m, Cricket ball and Long Jump Pit 1.  Adam McManus won the Hurdles, Cruz Irvin won the Pit 2 Long Jump and Stuart Allam won the Javelin.

In the J4 girls event Daisy Dalziel took the dinner table bragging rights from her brother Jack in J5 by winning the Hurdles, Sprint, 300m and the Long Jump and was 2nd in the Javelin and Cricket ball.  Connie Speirs also performed very well to claim four 2nd places.

There were lots of parents in attendance cheering for the children and they were well catered for by the ladies from the PTA.  The event ran very smoothly with the help of the teaching staff and next year's S6.    Mr Lawson would like to thank all those who helped make the afternoon such a success.
